My Approach
LCSW #101920
Therapy is for YOU. It is a space to explore your needs, emotions, beliefs, relationships, values, goals, and more. It is also a place to process how personal, intergenerational, and societal history has shaped your life. Therapy can challenge you to make important changes by developing techniques to break patterns that are no longer useful.
In order to support this journey, I center your needs and strengths while creating a warm, empathetic, and attuned environment. I apply different models and frameworks that match your life experience. These include: Attachment Theory, ACT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Theory, EcoTherapy, Play Therapy, and Trauma & Resiliency Informed Care.

As a therapist, I believe that one of the most important factors in generating positive impacts with my clients is our therapeutic relationship. We need to be able to connect with and trust one another! Otherwise, how are we going to figure out this being human/life thing?

How I Work
ASW #102584
My approach to therapy is nurturing, warm, and open. I believe growth happens best in the context of supportive relationships! Consequently, my style is dedicated to fostering trust and rapport between us, establishing a therapeutic space where you can cultivate self-acceptance and self-compassion. My aim is to guide you towards discovering more moments of joy, hope, and peace in your everyday life. In our collaborative journey, we will reflect together, explore patterns, and unearth core beliefs. I use a strengths-based approach, building upon the strengths you already possess.

I provide therapy to children, teens, young adults, and adults, ensuring that each individual's unique story takes center stage. Modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches are woven into our sessions to address the unique needs of each person. I specialize in grief and bereavement, trauma symptoms, relationship issues, attachment challenges, anxiety, and chronic stress.

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker who received my Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA. I have been working in the field with children, teens, young adults, and adults since 2016 and have worked in many different settings including community mental health, high schools, elementary schools, hospitals, academic settings, and home visitation.
I love to travel, hike, play with animals, go to the beach, read, and eat sour candy (especially sour punch straws). I can’t wait to learn about what you love!
